Minigames
The radio doesn’t stop when you come in here. Wind up the phonograph, pick a game, and let the record play to nobody in particular.
Click to clear a square. Right-click — or press and hold on a phone — to plant a ≠.
Press an arrow key to begin
Arrow keys or WASD. Space pauses. Swipe on a phone. Ω turns up once you’ve eaten three — it wants the same food, and the same rules kill it.
Press an arrow key to push off
Left and right to steer. Straight down is fastest — and past 2000 m you will need it. Hit a ramp to jump clear of everything; the streaked lanes carry you faster.
Hold Space to pull the plunger
Left and right arrows work the flippers. Hold Space to launch — or press and hold the table itself, which works the same with a mouse or a finger. Once the ball is in play, pressing either half of the table flips that side.
Route 89. 37 miles, no way around. Press up to pull out.
On a phone: press the road to go, drag to steer, let go to brake — and hold to cut a tree. On a keyboard: up and down to drive and brake, left and right to steer, Space to cut. Watch the edge where it drops away, ease off on the slick, and mind the man walking.
Play along with the record. A S D F, or the arrow keys.
The record starts over from the top and the notes fall in time with it. Hit each one as it crosses the line: A S D F or the arrow keys, or tap the lane on a phone. Change the record on the phonograph to play a different song.
Finish in the top five and you’ll be asked for a name. Minesweeper and Commute are scored on time, so quickest wins; the rest are scored on points or distance, so highest wins. New scores are looked over before they go up, so yours may take a little while to appear.
